Happy Holidays, and looking forward to 2022

The end of another year is fast approaching. And that means (besides that the holidays are coming) it’s time for my annual review process. As a self-employed person who identifies as a rebel (meaning that I don’t take direction from myself or others very well), this is something that I have to force myself to do every year, but it’s always worth the effort in the end. In fact, if it weren’t for this annual ritual, ITProMentor.com would not even exist.

For people like me, progress is made in a series of unpredictable bursts of creativity. It’s a blessing and a curse that I wouldn’t necessarily wish on anyone, but I have gotten better at working with the energy over the years. Anyway, as we wind down 2021, I am spending more time preparing for 2022, and soon you will see some big changes around here. At present, I have a website developer who is helping me to re-tool the look and feel of this entire website, for starters. And, as part of this new launch, I will be offering a “sponsorship” or “membership” option for those who are interested in supporting my work and connecting with other community members.

Many of you who have purchased products of mine in the past have asked for something like this, and in fact I did a small “pilot” last year using the Teachable platform. It is hard for me to express how grateful I am to all the folks who came along for the ride in 2021. We learned a lot from that experience and it has helped inform how we’re going to approach this moving forward. In the meantime, know that I am also working on some new writing projects, which along with the launch of my program for 2022, is going to take up a lot of my time between now and then (so you might not see a lot of new articles until these changes are behind us). I don’t know if I will keep this design or switch to something else yet, but I only have a few weeks left to decide…
