Exciting: Teams sites now visible in SharePoint admin center!

I just ran across this and had to share. I’m sure it was previously announced somewhere and I’ve just been behind the times on reading up, BUT–there are new Admin center updates coming soon to a tenant near you, and…

THE NEW SHAREPOINT ADMIN CENTER EXPOSES SITES CREATED VIA MICROSOFT TEAMS!!!

Yes, I am too hyper and probably over-reacting to this, but I’ve been waiting for a good answer to this conundrum for a while–the old admin center just doesn’t show these sites… at all. I don’t see too many controls available in here yet, but you do get some interesting data points. I’ll be curious to see how this develops!

I literally have no other news about this, I just got excited and fired this off.

    Nice! I hope… I do get the sharepoint admin preview here on my EU-based tenant – but no sign of “Team site”, although I do get a full list of all sites – lots of sites named “Test” :-)
