Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (formerly Microsoft Cloud App Security): this is perhaps my favorite multi-tool in the Microsoft 365 cloud. It can help you to discover and manage SaaS apps in your organization, and it provides a single pane of glass for monitoring identity incidents across all apps both first and third-party. Plus, if you have Microsoft Defender for Identity in your subscription, it will also ingest data from your on-premises Active Directory domain. In this tool we can work both on assessing and securing the environment, as well as detecting and responding to incidents.
